Susan Fruge

EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Susan Fruge announces her passing on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Eunice Manor at the age of 63 after a short battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating.

Susan was known to many as “Nanny” and “Momma Sue”.  She had a way to a kid’s heart that made them fall in love with her. She was a very loving woman who caught your attention with her infectious laughter. She is survived by her children, Tyler Miller of Eunice and Heather Miller Bell and husband, Rusty of Iowa; brother, Tommy Fruge of Webster, TX; sister, Gayle Fruge of Eunice; one grandchild, Ryken Miller; her former spouse, Ned Fruge; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Virgie Thibodeaux Fruge; siblings, Mickey Fruge and Pappy LeJeune; and former husband, Bobby Miller.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, February 9th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
