Yvonne Miller

IOTA- With heavy hearts, the family of Yvonne Miller announces her passing on February 4, 2025, at her home in Iota, at the age of 75. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Iota, with burial to follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, led by Deacon Ryan Fuselier.

 Yvonne was born on December 18, 1949, to the late Curley and Hazel Doucet. She was a cherished parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota where she graciously volunteered and participated in attending the Adoration Chapel. She also greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Yvonne will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, especially her children, Ritchey Miller and wife, Denise, and Shelly MaGee and husband, Doug, all of Iota; her sisters, Pam Dapogny and husband, Tom of Lafayette and Mona Cormier of Iota; her three grandchildren, Leah Reed and husband, Shawn, Brian Miller and fiancé, Sloane Matthews, and Keegan Romaine; four great grandchildren, Bentley Miller, Kinsley Patin, Alivia and Veida Hardy; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

 Yvonne is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Miller; her parents; and brother, Gerald Doucet.

 At the request of the family, friends and loved ones are invited to gather for visitation at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Iota from 9:00 AM until the time of services on Friday, February 7, 2025. The Catholic Daughters will pray a rosary at 10:00 AM.
