EUNICEA wonderful father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Winston Reed will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Winston passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Acadian Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones. He was 66. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, November 13, 2009 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Reed Cemetery with Father Austin Leger Celebrant, assisted by Deacon David Guillory.

Winston leaves behind a loving and grateful family including his children, Tina Reed Beard of Rayne, Conwin Reed of Eunice, Phillip Reed of Livingston, Polly Reed McFarlain of Eunice, Jaylene Reed Fuselier of Iowa, and Benny and Denny Reed both of Eunice; his brother, Charles Reed of Mamou; his sister, Jean Rougeau of Mamou; his twenty one beautiful grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Thursday evening.

Now he rests in heaven with his beloved son, Mitchell Reed and his parents, Wesley and Lurry Fontenot Reed.
