EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 29, 2009 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice for Winnie B. Barzare, 86, who passed away on Wednesday January 28, 2009. Rite of Committal to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Tom Voorhies Celebrant.

A Loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Winnie is survived by her son, David Barzare and wife, Gail of Eunice; three daughters, Judy B. Alliston and husband, George of Alexandria, Linda B. Richard and husband, Rodges of Eunice, Stephanie B. Castell and husband, Mark of Spring, TX; two brothers, Charles Bergeron of Clinton and Joseph Bergeron of Eunice; two sisters, Lelia David and Doris Prelosky both of Eunice; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Barzare; her parents, Cleus and Anise Ledoux Bergeron; grandson, Kevin Barzare; great granddaughter, Gracie Daigle; a brother, Elray Bergeron and a sister, Jennie Pitre.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on January 29, 2009 from 9:00 am until time of services.
