EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Willie Harold Mitchell known to family and friends as Billy on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at his residence at the age of 84. A Celebration of Billys Life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Brother Tim Moffett officiating.

Billy went on to join the United States Navy and proudly served his country. He will be forever missed by his daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Terry Bidez of Eunice; his sister Faye Phipps of Halfway, Oregon; his two beautiful grandchildren, Troy Bidez and Lori Cormier; his six wonderful great grandchildren, Derryk, Brydie, Dustin, Troy, Gabrielle and Brianna.

Now he rests in heaven with his beloved wife, Jackie Fay Berry Mitchell; his parents, Ira and Ina Robinson Mitchell; his brother, Glynn Mitchell and his sister, Verta VanWinkle.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, December 18, 2009 from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, December 19, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services.
