Willie Mae Gautreaux

EUNICE~ It is with a heavy heart that the family of Willie Mae Gautreaux announces her passing on Friday, June 23, 2023 at the Oaklane Nursing Home in Eunice at the age of 84.

       Willie was born on March 19, 1939, to Alvin and Melia Savoy Jeffers in Opelousas, LA. She was a homemaker and devoted herself to the care of her family and home. She will be missed by all, especially her two sons, Jerome Gautreaux and wife, Christine, and Richard P. Gautreaux and wife, Beth, all of Eunice; her brother, Dale Jeffers of Opelousas; her five grandchildren, Summer Renee’ Hebert, Amber Leree’ Godchaux, Lauren Denee’ Gautreaux, Jana Lenee’ Lagomosino, and Raven Elizabeth Stelly; her great grandchildren, Kaden Gage Gibbs, Kolton Kember Hebert, Briley Rain Godchaux, Brielle Sky Godchaux, Bryne’ Irene Godchaux, Josie Lenarie, and Rowan Stelly; as well as extended family and friends.

     She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Gautreaux, Jr.; her parents; and siblings, C.L. Jeffers, Lester Jeffers, James Jeffers, Bonnie Bell Jeffers, and Berta Burns.
