BASILEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of William James Young announces his sudden passing on Saturday, January 09, 2010 at his home in Grand Bay, Alabama at the age of 37. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Father Brian Taylor Celebrant.

William known as Billy to all who knew him was a native of Basile and a resident of Grand Bay, Alabama. He is an API Inspector employed by American Inspection Services out of Mobile. Billy leaves behind a loving wife, Candy R. Young of Grand Bay, AL his father, Jimmy Young and his wife, Dianne of Basile his daughter, Samantha Eva Young of Eunice his two step sons, Daniel and Christian Tynes of Hurley, MS his half brother, LeGrand Love and his wife, Kathy of Basile his two half sisters, Pam Granger and her husband, Kendall of Basile and Sheila Turner and her husband, Preston of Vinegar Bend, AL. Also mourning his loss is his three step brothers, four step sisters, as well as many other family members and friends. Billy will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be truly missed.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 7:00 am until time of services. Deacon Robby Leger will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.

Now he rests in heaven with his beloved mother, Juanita Slover Young.
