EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 03, 2007 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice, for Mr. Virgil L. Fontenot, 70, who passed away on Sunday, April 01, 2007 at Acadiana Medical Center in Eunice.

Father Tom Voorhies, Pastor of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice, LA.

Mr. Fontenot was a United States Marine Corp. Veteran and was retired from the Transco Williams Companies.

Survivors include his wife, Eve B. Fontenot of Eunice; two sons, Bryant Fontenot and wife, Pauline of Ozark, AL, Marc Fontenot and wife, Cheryl of Tallahassee, FL; one daughter, Lisa Aguillard and husband, Raymond of Eunice; two brothers Hubert Fontenot and Harold Fontenot both of Eunice; three sisters, Rosemary Miller of Perchville, Victoria Thompson of Glaspontonbury CT, Dorothy Prejean of Sunset; seven grandchildren and one grandson.
The family request that visitation hours be observed from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm on Monday, April 02, 2007, at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice and will continue from 8:00 am on Tuesday, April 03, 2007, until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Monday evening.
