EUNICE-Funeral services for Mrs. Vina Mae Courville will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2006 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Father Cedric Sonnier officiating.

Mrs. Courville, age 79, a resident of Eunice, died on Thursday, August 10, 2006, at 8:02 a.m. at Eunice Manor Nursing Home in Eunice. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Courville was preceded in death by her spouse, L. C. Courville, four brothers, Horace, Vorice, Ronald, and Al Faul; one sister, Frances Quebedeaux; and a granddaughter, Dawn Marie Terran.

The visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2006, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.. and again on Saturday, August 12, 2006, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Survivors include her son, Elrick Rick Courville and wife, Kathy of Eunice, LA; four daughters, Jeannie C. Alben and husband, Tom of Scottsdale, AZ., Yvonne C. Vasseur and husband, Ferdie of Eunice, LA., Loretta Flo Bertrand and husband, Hugh of Eunice, LA., Mona C. Wickiser and husband, Dr. Daniel of Sulphur, LA; two brothers, Bert Faul of Church Point, LA, Farrell Faul of Angleton, TX; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Rick Courville, Nigel and Kevin Courville, Lance Vasseur, Dustin and Jason Scott. Honorary pallbearer Julien Courville.
