EUNICE- A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated on Thursday, February 05, 2009 at 3:00 pm at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice for Vernice Bea Hunter, 94, who passed away on Wednesday, February 04, 2009 at Oak Lane Wellness Rehabilitation Center in Eunice. Rite of Committal to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Orval Rogers officiating.

She leaves behind a legacy of family and friends who loved and will miss her. Bea will be remembered as one who enjoyed cooking and baking. She is survived by her two sons, Lionel A. Richard and wife, Marlene of Eunice, Wayne J. Richard of Spring, TX; a daughter, Geraldine Jerry Middlebrooks and husband, Herman of Eunice; six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Abraham Richard and Wiley Hunter; her parents, Gil and Eva Horsty Fuselier; two step sons, Billy Hunter and Charles W. Hunter; and numerous brothers and sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, February 05, 2009 from 9:00 am until time of services.
