EUNICE-Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel for Vernice Marie Bordelon, 90, who passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Oak Lane Wellness Rehabilitation in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Mrs. Bordelon was a resident of Eunice and a homemaker who loved gardening, flowers and sewing. A sister, Percy Mae Thibodeaux of Eunice and a host of nieces and nephews survive her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evy Bordelon; her parents, Olide and Meline Fontenot; two brothers, Tanice and Vinel Fontenot; two sisters, Celima Fontenot and Bernice Vidrine.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, June 19, 2008 from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
