EUNICEA wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Verda Mae Bordelon will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Verda died peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2010 at home. She was 78. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Verda know as Mae to all who knew her was retired from Moosa Memorial Hospital as a Food Service Director. She will be remembered as one who enjoyed being with her family and friends. She leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her loving husband, Roland Bordelon of Eunice her two sons, Richard Dana Bordelon of Sellersville, Penn and Dion Lee Bordelon of Eunice her one daughter, Danette B. Miller and her husband, Darrell of Eunice her two brothers, Nilise Vidrine of Wilkesboro, N.C. and John Dwain Vidrine of Gonzales her two sisters, Marvel Sonnier of Lake Charles and Jane Reviere of Eunice. Also mourning her loss is the littlest joys of her life her two grandchildren and two great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Now she rests in heaven with her beloved parents, Dominic and Ida Johnson Vidrine.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
