EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, August 25, 2007 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice, for Mrs. Vela Young Crader, 91, who passed away at 12:03 am at Doctors Hospital in Opelousas.

The Rev. Tom Voorhies, Pastor of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice will be the Celebrant with Rite of Committal to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.

A Loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Mrs. Crader is survived by her six sons, Clayton Brown of Opelousas, Claiborne Brown of West Wego, James Carol Brown of Carencro, Glynn Brown of Opelousas, Donald Brown of New Orleans, Richard Brown of Eunice; three daughters, Mona Guidry of Basile, Gloria Jean Addington of Grapevine, TX, Linda Cormier of Opelousas; one sister, Claudia Guillory of Eunice; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren.
The family request that visiting hours by observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, August 24, 2007 from 10:30am until 9:00pm and again on Saturday, August 25, 2007 from 8:00am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm on Friday evening.
