EUNICE-A Celebration of Life for Vannie Pete Cooper, Jr, 50, will be on Tuesday, September 09, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Independence, LA with burial to follow in the Bradford Cemetery.

A Loving husband, son, father, step-father, brother, grandfather, and Co-worker, Pete is survived by his wife, Pam Cooper of Eunice; his mother Catherine Cooper of Independence; two sons, Vannie Wayne Cooper of Albany, and Eddie Joe Copper of Duralde; one daughter, Shyla Jenea Pelican of Duralde; one step-son Stephen Berlinger and wife, Christina of Elton; one step-daughter Myka Pelican of Eunice; four sisters, Patricia Smith of Independence, Alicia Grice of Albany, Katie Crain and Marry Lou Maurer both of Independence; two wonderful grandchildren, London Elizabeth Cooper and Kaylee Jolee Berlinger. All who knew and loved Pete will dearly miss him.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Saturday, September 06, 2008 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 12 noon until 10:00 pm. On Monday, September 08, 2008 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Independence from 1:00 pm until time of services.
