EUNICE-Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, December 10, 2006, at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice for Mr. Thomas Nolton Doucet, 86, who passed away at 8:15 am Friday, December 08, 2006, at the River Oaks Retirement Manor in Lafayette.

Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Doucet of Eunice; three sons, Joseph Norman Doucet and wife, Gerry of Ville Platte, Butch Doucet and wife, Debra of Eunice, Carson Doucet and wife, Cathy of Lake Charles; four daughters, Brenda Carrel and husband, Hank of Duson, Peggy D. Miller and husband, Richard of Lafayette, Paula Emerson and husband, Mike of Lafayette, Sandy Fontenot and husband, Dwayne of Eunice; a sister, Barbara Cary of Lacassine; fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aluse and Meliza Doucet; a son, Herman Doucet.

The family request that visitation hours be observed from 11 am until 9 pm Saturday, December 09, 2006 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice and will continue Sunday, December 10, 2006, from 9 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7 pm Saturday evening.
