EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Theresa ChaCha Savoy announces her passing on Monday, October 01, 2012 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. She was 73. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 04, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Thomas More Cemetery with Msgr. Robert Romero Celebrant.

Theresa known also as ChaCha was a housewife and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family brought a great deal of joy to her life. She was a seamstress but most importantly she was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be missed dearly by her loving husband, John E. Savoy of Eunice her daughters, Shari Justelien and husband, Alvin of Baton Rouge, and Shanna Vidrine and husband, Kevin of Basile two brothers, Floyd Faul of Iowa and Joe Faul of Jennings one sister, Mary Alice Phillips of Opelousas. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Nichole Justelien and husband, Lawrence Giacobbe, Staff Sergeant, Alex Justelien and wife, Bessie, Holly Holliman and husband, Joshua Vance, Kaylin and Taylor Lalonde, and Kade Vidrine and finance Jade LeJeune and further blessed with five great grandchildren.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, J.B. and Virgie Faul and a sister, Mary Lou Velle Bourque.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, October 3rd from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday, October 4th from 9:00 am until time of services. Deacon Jerry Wyble will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
