BASILEIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of there beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Theresa Tee Pitre on Friday, March 22, 2013. She was 67. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, March 25, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Father David Hebert Celebrant.

Theresa, better known as Tee to all who knew her, was an avid hunter, she loved people, dancing and cooking but most of all she enjoyed life and her happiest times were spent creating memories with family and friends. Tee was a special person and we will all miss her greatly especially her children, Roxanne Pitre Ortego and husband, Randall of Elton and Jason Pitre and wife, Tracey of Basile her parents, Louis and Wilda LeJeune of Basile one brother, Dolan Rae Fontenot of Basile and a sister, Jacqueline Martin of Baton Rouge. She was a loving Granny Tee to five grandchildren, Richland Racquel Vidrine, Blaise Hunter Vidrine, Macie Pitre Fontenot, Hayden Kaine Pitre and Jay Roberts Pitre and a loving great grandmother to four great grandchildren, Slate Richard Robinson, Kase Florence Robinson, Weston Paul Holford, and Madeline Kristine Pitre.

She is preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Kermick Johnson and Ronald LeJeune her father, Harrison Fontenot and her husband, Bobby Pitre.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Sunday, March 24th from 10:00 am until time of services on Monday, March 25th. Father David Hebert will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Sunday evening.

Carrying Tee to her eternal resting place will be Blaise Vidrine, Hayden Pitre, Jay Roberts Pitre, Ryan Blake LeJeune, Tony Johnson and Jace Young.
