EUNICEA wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Theresa Johnson will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Theresa died peacefully on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 85. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice on Friday, April 23, 2010. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Ed Duhon Celebrant.

Theresa was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was very kind and loving woman and spending time cooking for her family brought a great deal of joy to her life as well as listening to Bobby Darin.

She will be lovingly remembered by her four beautiful children, her three sons, Joey Johnson and wife, Gwen of Eunice, Michael Johnson and wife, Michelle and Ray Mark Johnson all of Lafayette her daughter, Lynn Folger and husband, John of Metairie her thirteen grandchildren, Jeremiah Johnson, Rebekah Strombom, Joel Johnson, Nathanael Johnson, Natasha LeJeune, Ben Johnson, Eric Johnson, Emily Johnson, Philip Johnson, Vaughn Johnson, Haily Johnson, Kendyll Johnson and Marissa Rabalais and twelve great grandchildren.

Now she rests in heaven with her beloved husband, Joe Johnson and her parents, Albert and Theresa Mancuso.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, April 23, 2010 from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday evening
