alignleftEUNICE-A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 06, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice for Theresa MoMo Fontenot, 75, who passed away on Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice with Pastor Dave Parks, Pastor Eric Griggs, and Pastor Rick Baker officiating.

Theresa, a native of Eunice and resident of Nederland, TX loved children and life. She enjoyed gardening her flowers and crocheting. She also loved and will be sadly missed by her cat, Max and dog, Buddy.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Larry J. Gotreaux and wife, Sue of Holden; her daughter, Ginger N. Huckaby and husband, Robert Bob of Nederland, TX; a brother, John D. Shawee Fontenot of Mamou; two sisters, Terry Jane Granger of Mamou and Tracy Dale Clark of Jena; seven grandchildren, Mitch Rhodes, Rhonda Griggs, Amy Gotreaux, Robbie Huckaby, Keela Bumm, Stacey Junot, and Dustin Gotreaux, and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Paul Gotreaux; four brothers, Walter, Autrey, Aubrey, and Hosea Fontenot; and one grandson, Ron David Huckaby.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, April 6, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services.
