EUNICE-Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, September 09, 2007, at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice for Thelma Tut Long, 71, who passed away on Friday, September 07, 2007 at the Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.

Interment will follow in the St. Thomas More Cemetery in Eunice with Father Cedric Sonnier officiating.

A Loving Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother, Mrs. Long is survived by her husband, Jessie C. Long of Eunice; a son, Jessie C. Long, Jr. of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Dolores McGee and companion Matthew Merritt of Lafayette, Jackie Manuel and husband, Craig of Eunice; two brothers, Edward Carrier and wife, Nell of Eunice, Eldridge Carrier and wife, Chris of Lafayette; a sister, Lessie Rougeau and husband, James of Eunice; eight grandchildren, Tanya Berzas, Wesley McGee, Patrick McGee, Louis McGee, Ryan McGee, Johnnie Ruth Naquain, Jessica Dishler, Frankie Manuel and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Her parents, Louis and Eula Courville Carrier, precede her in death.
The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, September 08, 2007 from 2:30pm until 10:00pm and again on Sunday, September 09, 2007 from 8:00am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm Saturday evening.
