Terry Carrier

February 10, 1956 — October 31, 2024

EUNICE-With heavy hearts, the family of Terry Carrier announces his passing on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at his home in Eunice at the age of 68. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 1:00pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery, with Father Sam Fontana as Celebrant.

Terry was born on February 10, 1956, to the late Lee B. and Mary Deaville Carrier. Terry dedicated his life to his work and family. His remarkable career spanned forty years with the city of Eunice, where he faithfully served in the Eunice Street Department. Terry was known for his sense of humor and playful spirit, often joking and teasing those around him. However, beyond laughter, it was the deep love he held for his family that truly defined him. His nieces and nephews were especially cherished, and the memories they shared will forever be a testament to the bond they had. In his leisure time, Terry found joy in watching western and war movies. As we gather to remember Terry, we celebrate the warmth he brought into our lives and the legacy of love and laughter he leaves behind.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, especially his brothers, Gary Carrier and Johnny Carrier and wife, Brandi, all of Eunice; his sisters, Gwendolyn Carrier Smith and husband, Shelton, and Janet Carrier, all of Eunice; nieces and nephews, Carmen Carrier Henry and husband, Joshua, Bryan Darbonne, whom was also his Godchild, and wife, Denise, Joseph Carrier, Elizabeth Carrier, whom was also his Godchild, Sha Carrier Guidry and husband, Kelly, Terrell Troha, Isabella Carrier and Tabitha Smith, all of Eunice; great nieces and nephews, Bryan Darbonne II, Briley Darbonne, Bryce “Monkey” Darbonne, Brielle Darbonne, Millie Guidry, and Parker Guidry; along with extended family and dear friends.
