EUNICEIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Taylor Emile Bellard announces his passing on Sunday, March 02, 2014 at the AcadiaSt. Landry Hospital in Church Point. He was 22. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 9:00 am on Wednesday, March 05, 2014 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Lawrence Cemetery with Father Clint Trahan.
Taylor was attending McNeese State Univeristy and was receiving his Bachelors of Science in Agriculture. He loved the outdoors and was a big hunter and fisherman. He loved his canine companion, Roux. But most of all he was a loving son, brother, godfather, grandson and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his father, Dale Bellard of Mowata his brother, Nicholas Bellard of Ragley two sisters, Allison Bellard of Mowata and Brooke Fourroux of Eunice his maternal grandparents, Herman and Madeline Miller Mire his two goddaughters, Emalee Ray of Crowley and Caitlin McGee of Eunice and his nephew, Corbin Bellard of Ragley.
He now rests in Heaven with his beloved mother, Jennifer Ann Mire and his paternal grandparents, Louis and Laura Zaunbrecher Bellard.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, March 4th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Deacon Tommy Adams will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening. On Wednesday, March 5th visitation will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata from 8:00 am until time of services.
