A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Rev. Louis J. Richard will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard, Louisiana for Tammy Thevis Siffert. Tammy was born December 21, 1958 in Eunice, Louisiana and passed away surrounded by her beloved family at her home in Katy, Texas on Friday, May 16, 2014.

Visitation will be at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a rosary at 10:30 led by the Sacred Heart Council Knights of Columbus. Dolores Siffert Coffey of Katy, Texas, will read scripture. Offertory Gift bearers will be Jacqueline Thevis Shirley of Eunice, Louisiana, Josie Berken Thevis of Rayne, Louisiana and Carla Hebert Anderson of Sugar Land, Texas.

Immediately following the funeral mass, a gathering will be held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Life Center followed by internment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice, Louisiana.

Tammy, a devout Catholic, was active in her home church parishes and enjoyed serving as a Eucharistic minister and board member of St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Tammy is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years Robert Ryan Siffert of Katy, Texas her two loving daughters, Gretchen Michelle Siffert of Austin and Veronica Leigh Siffert of Houston her mother, Wilda Lejeune Thevis of Eunice and her sister, Jacqueline Thevis Shirley of Eunice.

Her father, Ferdinand Jack Thevis of Eunice, Louisiana, preceded her in death.

Pallbearers will be John Andrew Siffert of Sugar Land, Texas James Herschell Siffert of Eunice, Louisiana Steve Doxie Manuel of Eunice, Louisiana Donovan Richard Joseph of Lafayette, Louisiana Ricky Dowell of Houston, Texas and James Michael Marque of Mandeville, Louisiana.

We would like to express our heartfelt and sincere gratitude for the abundant outpouring of love and support towards Tammy and our entire family. I consider that the sufferings of this present time are nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us Romans 8:18.
