Stevin Willis LaFleur

     EUNICE~ Our hearts are heavy as we announce the unexpected passing of our loving father, son, brother and friend, Stevin Willis LaFleur on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital at the age of 34. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the Richie House of Prayer. Burial will follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Pastor Joey Reed, officiating.

       Stevin was born on March 26, 1989 in Mamou to Dennis LaFleur and Carolyn David Bihm. He was pure country and a true outdoorsman who loved to duck hunt and fish. He was a welder, painter, horse and dog trainer. He was many things, but his passion was horses and his love for his family.  He loved spending time with family and friends and especially quality time with his children. He will be forever in their hearts and missed very much everyday by his father, Dennis LaFleur and wife, Brenda of Eunice; his mother, Carolyn David Bihm and husband, Michael of Eunice; his two loving children, Hudson Willis Lafleur and Kailynn Beth LaFleur, both of Eunice; brother, Ryan LaFleur and wife, Holli of Eunice; sister, Kalie Bond and husband, Travis of Eunice; maternal step-grandmother, Wilma Bihm of Eunice; step-brothers, Eric Fusilier and Dameon Fusilier and wife, Kayla, all of Iowa; step-sisters, Roxie Fusilier of Chattanooga, TN, and Heather Hebert and husband, Jon of Eunice; as well as extended family and many dear friends. It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we loved and cherish.  

       He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Vurley LaFleur; maternal grandparents, Willis and Mercedes David; maternal step-grandfather, Dale Bihm; stepbrother, Justin Bihm; and his godchild and nephew, Gaige LaFleur.

       At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, May 17th from 10:00 am until Thursday, May 18th at 1:30 pm.
