EUNICE The family announces with heavy hearts that Stephanie Ann Russell, a little angel given to them for 2 months passed away on Saturday, December 03, 2011 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 08, 2011 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Interment will follow in the St. John Berchman Cemetery in Cankton with Father Nathan Comeaux officiating.

Although her life was short here on Earth, her presence with her father, mother and her family will forever be in their hearts. Stephanie leaves to cherish her memories, her loving parents, Richard and Tonya H. Russell, Jr. of Church Point her sister, Katlyn Bertrand of Church Point maternal grandparents, Troy and Van Taylor of Church Point maternal great grandparents, Winston and Betty Boudreaux of Church Point paternal great grandfather, Dupre Duplechin of Carencro her godparents as well as her uncle and aunt, Anthony and Jobie Russell her uncles, Jeremy Hanks and Corey Hanks and fianc, Racheal Smith all of Texas. Also mourning her loss are numerous great uncles, great aunts and other family members.

She will now rest in Heaven with her beloved paternal grandparents, Richard and Judy Russell her maternal great grandparents, Lois and Albert Russell her paternal great grandmothers, Lula Duplechin and Jeaneane Russell.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, December 7th from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday, December 8th from 8:00 am until time of services. Father Nathan Comeaux will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
