BASILE A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 12, 2007 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile for Mr. Stanley Lester Rudasill, 52, who passed away on Monday, January 29, 2007.

Interment will follow in the Protestant Cemetery in Basile with Brother Rod Martin officiating.

Mr. Rudasill was a native of Basile, was raised in Franklin, La and was a resident of Atlanta, GA. He was known as being a Jack of all Trades as well as a caretaker and handyman where he enjoyed working with wood. Mr. Rudasill also enjoyed the outdoors and loved flowers.

Survivors include his mother, Colleen S. Rudasill; two brothers, Shawn B. Rudasill and wife, Suzanne, and Guy Q. Rudasill; one sister, Aleta R. Jacob, and husband, Wade; one sister-in-law, Debbie C. Rudasill; four nieces, Leticia R. Chauvin, Alissa R. Duhon, Brittany L. Jacob, Rachel C. Rudasill; one nephew, Reed S. Rudasill, and also two great nieces and one great nephew.

Mr. Rudasill is preceded in death by his father, Lester L. Rudasill; one brother, William L. Rudasill; maternal grandparents, Bill and Mildred Stanley; paternal grandparents, Lester and Fannila Rudasill.

A gathering for friends and family will begin Monday, February 12, 2007 at 9:00 am until time of services on Monday, February 12, 2007.
