BASILEIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Stacey Paul Duplechin announces his passing on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the age of 43. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Father David Hebert Celebrant.

Stacey was a pipeline supervisor for Bentons Equipment and Construction but most of all he was a loving father, son, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten by his father, Darrel Duplechin his son, Gabriel Batson Duplechin of Basile daughter, Lily Duplechin of Basile two brothers, Steven Duplechin and wife, Amy of Basile, Sam Duplechin and wife, Sherri of Connerville, Oklahoma sister, Shelly Ledoux and husband, Kyle of Basile as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Stacey will be loved and remembered in our hearts forever.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved mother, Shirley A. Duplechin.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Tuesday, January 15th from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, January 16th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Chuck Ortego will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Tuesday evening.
