EUNICEIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of our loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend, Sherwin Sha Wee Boone announces his passing on Friday, June 08, 2012. He was 61. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Brother Tim Moffett officiating.

Sherwin known as Sha Wee to all who knew him served his country proudly in the United States Army as well as a member of the American Legion in Eunice. He was employed with N.R.G. Louisiana Generating as an Electronic Technician. He was an outdoorsman, he loved hunting, reading and praying but most of all he loved his family including his loving wife of 24 years, Missy Boone of Carencro his parents, Shelton and Mary Lou Fontenot Boone of Eunice his son, David Kyle Boone of Youngsville his daughter, Denise Boone Podvoric of Philadelphia his step daughter, Rachel Crochet Just and husband, Michael of Lafayette his brother, Norman Glen Boone and wife, Susan of Baton Rouge and the joys of his life his four grandchildren, Kelsea and Reese Boone Haley Fischer and Charley Rose Just.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, June 9th from noon until 8:00 pm and again on Sunday, June 10th from 8:00 am until time of services.
