Renea McWilliams

With heavy hearts, the family of Sheri Renea McWilliams announces her sudden passing on March 4, 2025, at the age of 54. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday March 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Word Ministries in Eunice, officiated by Pastor Josh Belt and Jamie Tyler.

Renea was a dedicated homemaker who devoted her life to her family and community. Born on April 30, 1970, she was the beloved daughter of Gerald and Sherry Shaw Woodard. A woman of deep faith, Renea cherished her relationship with God and her church community, utilizing her gifts to minister to women. She was known as an amazing wife and a beautiful person, embodying the love and kindness she spoke of.

Renea is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Heath McWilliams of Ville Platte, and their six sons: Chandon Woodard of Utah, Khristian McWilliams of Chatagnier, Khayman McWilliams of Rayne, Deuce McWilliams, Madden McWilliams, and Kaimen McWilliams, all of Chatagnier. She was a loving sister to Gerald Lynn Woodard and his wife, Melissa, of Texas, and to Kem Woodard of Dry Prong. Renea also treasured the time spent with her three grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life, alongside her extended family and dear friends.

In accordance with the family's wishes, a visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th at Word Ministries from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
