EUNICE-Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 for Shelton Joseph Manuel with interment following in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Officiating the service will be Father Harry Benefiel. Shelton passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2007.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl Fusilier Manuel of Eunice; three sons, S.J. Manuel, Jr. and wife, Lynda of Mesquite, Nevada, Patrick Manuel and wife, Debra, Timothy Manuel and wife, Carla all of Eunice; four grandchildren, Tammy, Ed, Brett, Kylie; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald James Manuel, August Larry Manuel all of Eunice; two sisters, Bertha Treadie Manuel LeDoux of Eunice, Patricia Manuel Russel of Beaumont, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dubisson and Bertha Reed Manuel; a brother, W.C. Manuel; a sister, Edwina Manuel Fontenot.
The family request that visitation hours be observed from 4pm until 10pm on Monday, June 18, 2007, at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice and again on Tuesday from 9am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm Monday evening.
