IOTA-It is with great sadness that the family of Shannon Christopher LeJeune announces his passing on Friday, August 21, 2009 at the age of 39. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Monday, August 24, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota at 2:00 pm. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Juless Cemetery in T-Mamou with Pastor Mitchelle Gotte officiating.

Shannon known as JewBoy to all who knew him lived in Hathaway, where he blessed many lives with his tender heart and joyful spirit. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his father, Charlie LeJeune and his wife, Janice of Iota; his son, Trent Allen LeJeune of Hathaway; his four sisters, Michelle L. Stockman of Iota, Shanda R. Dupont of Mire, LaDonna St. Andre and her husband, Clarence and Jamie LeJeune all of Iota; his nephews, Chris, Darren and Tyler Stockman, Landon Dupont, Landon LaCombe and Dakota St. Andre; his nieces Desiree Stockman, Taylor Dupont, and Abigail St. Andre. JewBoy will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be truly missed.

Now he rests in heaven with his beloved mother, Peggy Ann Dietz Miller and his brother-in-law Duane Stockman.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Sunday, August 23, 2009 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, August 24, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services.
