EUNICE-Funeral services for Rusty Doga, 17, who passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Acadiana Medical Center in Eunice will be held Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

A 2007 graduate of Youth Challenge Program in Carville, LA Rusty, loved sports, fishing and he was a baseball pitcher. All who knew him will miss him.

He was a Loving Son, Grandson, Brother, Godson, Nephew, Cousin, and Friend, Rusty is survived by his father, John Wesley Doga II of Opelousas; his mother, Terri Alexander of Houston, TX; his paternal grandparents, Donald and Sandra Doga of Opelousas; his maternal grandmother, Anna Alexander of Eunice; two brothers, Brandon Doga of Grand Prairie, Ray Robles of Houston, TX; six sisters, Brittany Kling, Brittany Dixon both of Washington, Jorene Lafleur and husband, Greg, Hollie Venezia and fianc Joey Charlie, Lashonda Venezia, Amber Brickey all of Eunice; three uncles, Don Doga, also his godfather, of Opelousas, Troy Alexander and wife, Rhonda of Georgia, Stewart Alexander and wife, Nannette of Eunice; two aunts, Stacey Doga Deville and husband, Jan, also his godmother of Opelousas, Donna Doga Lalonde and husband, Torrey of Leonville; eight nephews, four nieces, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Austin Alexander.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, February 14, 2008 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Wednesday evening.
