EUNICE~The family announces with sorrow, the passing of Ruby Lee Young on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Pointe Coupee Health Care in New Roads at the age of 77. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:30 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Caleb Semien officiating.

Ruby, was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She will be missed dearly by her three sons, Gregory J. Young of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Mitchell K. Young and wife, Theresa of Ocean Springs, MS and Jody M. Young of Port Allen; two daughters, Amy Gilchrist and husband, Lee of Plaquemine and Sherie Delaune and husband, Sidney of Port Allen; a sister Cammie Mooney of Vidor, TX; A wonderful and loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, Jenny Young Davis, Shantel, Scotty, Blaise and Alison Young, Jessie Lee Gilchrist Dupre and Carly Gilchrist; and three great grandchildren, Caden and Kenadi Davis and Beau Eli; as well as extended family and dear friends.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Dillard Young, a son, Kim Anthony Young; parents, Henry and Armide Dupre Lee.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, February 20th from 11:00 am until time of services.
