EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 2:30 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church for Mr. Ronald Cole, Sr., 57, who passed away on Monday, December 10, 2007 at his residence. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Ed Duhon Celebrant.

For several years, Mr. Cole was a driver for disabled veterans of the area taking them back and forth to the V.A. Hospital for treatment. He was an avid gardener who loved to work in his yard, as well as a huge LSU fan. Mr. Cole also touched the lives of many boys and girls in the Eunice area, as he was a well-known baseball coach for many years.

A Loving Husband, Father, Brother and Papa, Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Cora Cole of Eunice; a son, Ronald Cole, Jr. and wife, Stephanie of Basile; a daughter, Lisa Beutnagel and husband, Kevin of Krum, TX; a brother, Henry Cole of Mamou; two sisters, Dorothy Fontenot of Eunice, Lena Oliver of Duralde; seven grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mabel Cole; brother, Kenneth Gaspard; sister, Dorothy Mae Cole, Priscilla Fontenot.
The family request that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 2:00 pm until 11:00 pm and again on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm with Deacon Chuck Ortego.
