EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Rodney J. Diaville announces his sudden passing on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. He was 65. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin Celebrant.

Rodneys favorite past time that he loved was working on lawnmowers. He also liked to hunt and play softball, and was a member of Woodmen of the World. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him especially by his wife of 43 years, Norma F. Diaville of Eunice daughter, Erika Diaville Chapman and husband, Dale of Eunice brother, Dudley J. Diaville and wife, Leura of Lanse Meg four grandchildren, Kyrie Diaville, Alexx Ridout, Blakelyn Diaville, Keyana Dupre great grandchild, Breye Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved parents, Morris and Bertille Bertrand Diaville daughter, Kimberly Diaville Ridout brother, Roy J. Diaville and sisters, Ella D. LeBlanc and Rita D. Douget.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, March 31st from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Sunday, April 1st from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Saturday evening.
