EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday, October 04, 2007 at 10:30 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice for Mr. Rodney James Bellon, 69, who passed away on October 2, 2007 at his residence. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice with The Reverend Father Tom Voorhies Celebrant.

Mr. Bellon a retired Salesman for an Insurance Company and also work at Sears for 17 years is survived by his lovely wife, Caroline G. Bellon of Eunice; four sons, Roddie Jacob Bellon, Dewey Paul Bellon and wife, Tuwana, Mark Noah Bellon and wife, Leah, Michael Martin Bellon and wife, Tammy all of Eunice; two daughters, Lousie Marie Bellon Johnson and husband, Samual of Eunice, Mary Rachel Bellon Myer of Mermentau; a brother, John Dewey Bellon of Basile; two sisters, Elmae Rodig of New Jersey, Terry Hebert of Egan; his life long friend, Jack Burson; thirteen grandchildren, Rae-Leigh, Sarah, Teri Johnson, McKenzi Bellon, Britz, Chantelle, Jacob, and Nathan Chatagnier, Connor and Hailey Bellon, Lizzy Bellon, Jonathan Jannise and Tanner Myer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Ida Kider Bellon; his first wife, Linda Wayne Fruge Bellon; a sister Isabelle Manuel.
The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, October 03, 2007 from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, October 04, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of service. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
