EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday, June 13, 2008 at 2:00 pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice for Rita B. Sattler, 69, who passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Thomas More Cemetery with The Reverend Fr. Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Mrs. Sattler a resident of Mowata was a clerk at Derbes and Picous for 50 years. All who knew and loved her will miss her.

A Loving Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother, Rita is survived by her husband, Richard Charles Sattler of Mowata; three sons, Ricky Sattler and wife, Janet of Egan, Todd Sattler and wife, Shelia of Tepatate, Marion Sattler and wife, Lori of Eunice; one brother, Leonard Noonie Bihm of Moss Bluff; three sisters, Jane B. Miller of Carencro, Flo Bihm and Cecile B. Miller both of Eunice; seven grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Octavia Heck Bihm and a brother, Al Red Bihm.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, June 12, 2008 from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, June 13, 2008 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Thursday evening.
