EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, January 08, 2009 at 2:00 pm at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell for Ricky James Miller, 18, who passed away on Tuesday, January 06, 2009. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Dan Picard, Celebrant.

Ricky was a young man of laughter and joy. He could make anyone laugh or crack a smile. He loved 4 wheeler riding, trucks, cats, skate boarding, mechanics, and always had a project in the making. He loved and cherished his family and friends. He was with us for a short while but touched many lives with an everlasting impression of love and joy. Ricky will be missed by everyone- especially his family, friends and colleagues at Sattlers Supply.

He is survived by his parents, Ashton and Tina Myers Miller, Jr. of Eunice; two sisters, Leah M. Daigle and husband, Ryan and Lacy A. Miller all of Eunice;; his maternal grandfather, Francis Myers of Eunice; paternal grandmother, Linda Miller of Eunice; his fianc, Kaitlin LeBleu of Eunice; two nieces, Abigail and Julia; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ashton Miller, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Esther Moreau Myers; and Uncle Ricky James Myers.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, January 07, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm and again on Thursday, January 08, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
