EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30 am on December 10, 2008 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice for Richard Nicklos Prelosky, 78, who passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2008. Rite of Committal to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Ed Duhon Celebrant.

Mr. Prelosky retired from the United States Navy after 27 years where he served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He also retired from the University of Guam as a Professor of Business and Public Health.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Doris Prelosky of Eunice; a son Nicklos R. Prelosky of Guam; two daughters, Maggie P. Bell and Cynthia P. Naval both of Guam; a brother, Ronald Prelosky of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Gloria Prelosky and Marjorie Reabe both of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Connor and Cameron Murphy, James Naval, Anna Nicole, Gabriella and Christopher Prelosky. He will dearly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, December 10, 2008, from 8:30 am until time of services.
