EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of there beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Rena H. Bihm, on August 12, 2010 at Opelousas General Health System. She was 72. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Msgr. Robert Romero Celebrant.

Rena was employed with the Acadia St. Landry Hospital in Church Point as an Insurance clerk. She leaves a wonderful legacy of love and care, especially for her loving family including her two sons, Glen Bihm and wife, Diane and Kirk Bihm all of Eunice her daughter, Dana B. LeJeune and husband, Dwayne of Eunice her sister, Valmae Eakin of Sunset. She is also mourned by her five grandchildren of whom she was very proud, Ryan Bihm, Katherine Bihm Vezina, Brooke Duplechin, Brett Duplechin, and Paige Duplechin her three great grandchildren Ali Bihm, Braxton Bihm and Peyton Vezina were a great source of joy. Rena was a special person and we will miss her greatly.

Now she rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Al Red Bihm, her daughter, Paula Bihm her parents, Clovis and Narcille Cormier Thibodeaux and her brother, Cliff Thibodeaux.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, August 13th, from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, August 14th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Mike Tramel will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
