BASILE It is with great sadness that the family of Raymond Red Bellon announces his passing on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Dubuis Hospital in Lake Charles. He was 69. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Augustine Cathlolic Church in Basile on Tuesday, June 28, 2010 at 11:30 am. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Father Brian Taylor officiating.

Red, a Veteran of the United States Army, enjoyed the outdoors, such as fishing, camping and barbequing. He loved his children and great grandchildren, who brought great joy in his life. A loving companion, father, grandfather, and friend, Red will be lovingly remembered by his companion of 22 years, Sue Patterson of Lake Charles three sons, Terry Bellon and wife, Judy of Baton Rouge, Steven Bellon and wife, Nicole of Sulphur, and Robert Bellon of Las Vegas, NV three daughters, Pamela Primeaux and fianc, Steven Quinn of Lake Charles, Deona Davis and husband, Doug of Moss Bluff, and Jennifer Bellon and fianc, Jimmy Morris, Sr. of Sulphur and sixteen grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

He now rest in Heaven with his beloved wife, Parella Richard Bellon parents, Adam and Virginia Bertrand Bellon and brother, Harold Bellon.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Monday, June 28, 2010 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 8:00 am until time of Services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Monday evening.
