EUNICE-Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, April 13, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church for Mrs. Phyllis Sanders Jones, 68 who passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007. Burial will follow in the St. Louis Cemetery with The Rev. Truman Stagg officiating.
A loving wife, mother grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Jones was a homemaker who was native and resident of Eunice.

Survivors include her son, Jesse Robert Jones III of Eunice; a daughter, Daun Shay Bennett and husband, Steve of Minden; two brothers, Larry Sanders and wife, Sherrill of Duralde, Donald Ray OBrian and wife, Delores of Shreveport; a sister Diane Sanders Young and husband, Ricky of Basile; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Robert Jones, Jr.; a son James Elroy Jimmy Jones; a daughter, Mildred Elizabeth Beth Jones Aguillard; her parents, Robert Sanders and Mildred B. Sanders.

The family request visitation hours be observed on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 11am until 9pm and again on Friday, April 13, 2007 8am until time of services.
