EUNICEA devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She lived a very full life surrounded by people who loved her and whom she loved. Pearly Gobert passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the age 90. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mallet. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Ann Cemetery with Father Denis A. Osuagwu Celebrant.
Pearly was a homemaker who devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Mallet. Her greatest joy in life were her family including her five sons, Ulysses Gobert and wife, Lorene of Mallet, Roland Gobert of Vidor, TX, Lee Vine Gobert and wife, Regina of Hillsboro, TN, Joseph Gobert, Jr. of AL, James Roger Gobert and wife, Sandra of Opelousas her daughter, Betty GobertTapia of Lake Charles her brother, William Rene of Lake Charles her three sisters, Marjorie Dyer and Dolores Dyer both of San Francisco, CA and Lou Perrodin of Sulphur her thirty one grandchildren, fifty three great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren. She was also the beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Now she rests in Heaven with her beloved husbands, Joseph Gobert and Alton Bullard her three sons, Jessey, Ulying Tee Tee, and Cleveland Gobert her parents, Morris Dyer and Orealia LeDay.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mallet on Saturday, August 21st from 7:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am Saturday morning.
