EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11 am Saturday, December 02, 2006, at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice, for Paul Luther Fontenot, 65, who passed away at 9:30 am Thursday, November 30, 2006, at his residence in Eunice.

The Rev. Tom Voorhies, will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice.

Mr. Fontenot, a resident of Eunice and was a graduate of Eunice High School as well as a veteran of the United States Navy and the Louisiana National Guard. He had a special love for the numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends especially his coffee-drinking buddies. Mr. Fontenot was an avid sports and LSU fan and enjoyed being outdoors especially in his yard.

Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Deaville Fontenot of Eunice; one brother, John Ferold Fontenot and wife, Jeanette of Eunice, numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Turnice and Mabel Blanchard Fontenot; sister Shirley Fontenot Cart.
The family requests that visitation hours be observed from 10 am until 10 pm Friday, December 01, 2006 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice and again on Saturday, December 02, 2006 from 8 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7 pm Friday evening.
