EUNICE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Patsy Manuel Leger announces her passing on Saturday, May 05, 2012 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 57. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 08, 2012 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Lanse Meg with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Patsy was a Pharmacy Technician but most importantly she was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Patsy enjoyed gardening but what she loved and lived for was spending time with her loving family especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her significant other, Joe Thibodeaux of Eunice her son, Michael Joseph Leger, II and wife, Danielle of Eunice her three daughters, Joy Navare and husband, Darrin of Lafayette, Marhyia Leger and Jeaunne Butcher and husband, Noel all of Eunice her sister, Pearl Foutz of Vinton. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Connor, Chaise, Lindsay, Mikie and Gabriel.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, John B. and Willa Vasseur Manuel, Sr her husband, Michael Joseph Leger two brothers, Selton Manuel, Sr. and June Manuel.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the IBC Hospice Care, family, friends and Jesus. It was very much appreciated and will not be forgotten.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, Mary 7th from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday, May 8th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Robby Leger will recite a Rosary Monday evening at 7:00 pm.
