EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our loved one, Patsy R. Fontenot, on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. She was 83. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Dustin Dought officiating.
Patsy was a homemaker and devoted herself to the love and care of her family. She enjoyed life, especially her family and grandchildren. A loving mother, grandmother and friend, Patsy will be dearly missed by her son, Randy Fontenot and wife, Jackie of Eunice daughter, Connie Tupper and husband, Woody of Mowata five grandchildren, Elizabeth Trahan, Adriane Schultz, Chad Tupper, Katie Young and Emily Fontenot and 20 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, L.D. Fontenot son, Darrell Fontenot and brother, Hinkley Duplechain.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, December 23rd from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday, December 24th from 8:00 am until time of services. Father Joseph Tran will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Monday evening.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
