EUNICE-A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice, La for Patricia Pat Manuel Lofton. Rite of Committal to follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Tom Voorhies officiating.

The angels came to take Pat home Thursday, September 11, 2008. She was a native of Eunice, La born on May 16, 1942 and a resident of New Orleans, La. Pat retired as a hospital police officer at The Medical Center of Louisiana in New Orleans.

Survivors include her three nieces, Diane Butler and her son, Justin, Deborah Saurage and her two daughters, Francoise and Domonique, and Nona Janeaux; one nephew, Patrick Fuselier; many cousins, including Verdie Fontenot, Gloria Goss, Connie Hicks, Cindy Courville, and many friends, including Sharon Cardinal, Kathy Lovett, Rhonda Green, Martha Smith, Anita Smith, and her physician, Dr. Kathi Fontenot.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Launey and Lenora Manuel; brothers, Allen Ray Ardoin and infant Launey Manuel, Jr.

Pat was a member of St. Dominics Catholic Church in New Orleans. Memorial donations can be made to St. Dominics Catholic Church, 775 Harrison Ave. New Orleans, LA 70124.

A Celebration of Patricia Pat Manuel Loftons Life will be scheduled in New Orleans, La. at a later date and time.
