EUNICE-Funeral services for Mrs. Ora Roy will be held at 12 noon Saturday, August 26, 2006, at St. Anthonys Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Tom Voorhies officiating.

Mrs. Roy, age 97, a lifelong resident of Eunice, LA. passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2006. She was a former owner of Oras Fabric Shop in Eunice. Mrs. Roy was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Roy; parents, Azeline and Paul Boudreaux; brothers, Aaron Boudreaux, Robert Boudreaux, and sister, Florence Thomas.

The visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2006, from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, August 26, 2006, from 8:00 am until time of services.

A rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7:00 pm.

Survivors include her sons, Aaron Stanley Roy of Eunice, LA, Wilson Patrick Roy and wife, Jere of Courtland, MS; daughter, Julia Ann Roy of Carencro, LA; brother Louis J. Boudreaux and wife, Jane of Dallas, TX; sister-in-law, Irene Boudreaux of Lake Charles; two grandchildren, Andrew Patrick Roy and wife, Leah, Julee Axelrod and husband, Sirgio; two great-grandchildren, Joshua Fogle, Hanna Gail Roy and numerous nieces and nephews.
