EUNICEWith much sorrow the family announces the passing of their beloved father, brother, grandfather and friend, Norris Gautreaux on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice with loving family by his side. He was 75. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, March 03, 2014 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.

Norris enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing his accordion and especially time spent with his beloved family. His memory will live on in all who loved him, especially his five children, Cynthia Faye Hoffpauir and husband, Steven of Eunice, Leonard Gautreaux and wife, Rita of Mamou, Norris Gautreaux, Jr. and wife, Stacy, Johnny Allen Gautreaux and wife, Marcy and Iris Lynn Cody and husband, Scott all of Houston, TX his sister, Louise Brown of Opelousas. He was a wonderful grandfather to sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved wife, Willine Toni Gautreaux parents, Joseph and Leola Miller Gautreaux three brothers, Edward, Joseph, and Leon Gautreaux five sisters, Edith Soileau, Irene Darbonne, Euna Courville, Lily Peloquin and Lillian Thibodeaux.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, March 2nd from 1:00 pm until time of services on Monday, March 3rd at 11:00 am. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Sunday evening.
