KinderFuneral service will be held for Nora Menier, 72, at 10am on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Father David Hebert will officiate the services and burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Basile.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Basile beginning Friday, March 22, 2013 from 12 until 10 pm with a Rosary at 6:30 pm. Visitation will continue Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 8 am until time of service.

Nora was retired with the Southwest State School in Iota. She enjoyed reading and visiting with family and friends. She was known for being a caretaker of the sick and she was also a loving wife, mom and grandmother.

Survivors include her son, Jeffery Vidrine and wife Naomie of Basile one daughter, Julie Willis and husband Ray of Kinder and four grandchildren, Jenna, Lance, Macey and Gavin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rena and Webster Lafosse her first husband, Joseph Vidrine second husband, Gene Menier son, Joseph Vidrine Jr. and brother, Wayne Lafosse.
